Contracts and audits
OMEGA's contracts are open source, written in Aiken, tested in depth and independently audited before mainnet.
#Open source
Every contract is public on GitHub, written in Aiken, a language built for Cardano smart contracts. Anyone can read them, run the tests and check that what's deployed matches.
#The contracts
| Contract | What it does |
|---|---|
| Position | Each loan: borrowing, repaying, adding and withdrawing ADA, renewing and liquidation |
| Position stake | A loan's own staking account, when it uses one |
| oUSD | Creates and destroys oUSD, only for genuine loans and the peg module |
| Allowance slots | Holds the ceiling as room, so loans can never create more oUSD than it allows |
| Price | Checks the prices a transaction claims against Pyth and the Minswap pools |
| Price guard | Records the price, at most every 15 minutes, for the speed limit |
| Stability pool, Pool requests, Absorb | The pool, its queued deposits and withdrawals, and its side of a liquidation |
| Peg module | Swaps USDCx and oUSD one for one |
| Settings | The adjustable settings, their hard limits and notice periods |
| Revenue, Pots | Collects fees and splits them each week |
| Backstop, ADA desk | OMEGA's own pool deposit, and the sale of its ADA for oUSD |
| OMEGA staking | Stakes, weekly payouts and unstaking |
#How they're tested
- Every path tested, including tests that try each known attack and must fail.
- Property tests for anything numeric: thousands of random inputs checked against the rules.
- Mutation checks: deliberately breaking the code to prove the tests notice.
- Size checks: every contract fits in a single Cardano transaction, checked on every change.
- A public testnet, running the same contracts with the same launch settings.
#Audits
OMEGA will be independently audited by Cardano specialists before it launches on mainnet. The reports will be published here in full.
Contract addresses for mainnet are published here at launch. Only use addresses from this page or the OMEGA app.
